About us

Compello develops software and services that simplify invoice management and accounting. We're a Norwegian company that started in 1996 and today we help businesses across Europe save time and cut costs with smarter invoice management.

In 2020, Compello was acquired by Visma, Europe's leading software company. We now share premises with Visma in their headquarters in Oslo, and have good cooperation with other companies in Visma, but still operate as a separate brand.

Compello has a culture of dedicated, courageous and helpful employees with a twinkle in their eye. We believe that what makes us different also makes us stronger. Diversity provides better services, is better for the environment and, not least, we have more fun at work.

At Compello, we believe that the paper invoice is living overtime. Every year, we cut down 36,000 trees in Norway alone - just to make paper invoices. That's enough to build two new castles! Our goal is to get rid of the paper invoice. So far, our customers are saving the environment around 15,000 trees a year, which is a good start.

In 2018, we won the ODA award for our work on inclusion, which has resulted in us having almost 40% women in the company. We have 35 employees, 40% of whom are women. In the management team, 43% are women.

Our CEO has signed the CEO commitment initiative from ODAxMAK, to promote diversity.
