Display of status fields
To increase readability, we are changing the way we display statuses in Compello.
Before
All statuses - Document status, Scanner status and Approval status - are only displayed with icons, and we have received feedback from many customers that these are not intuitive or very readable.
After
We are changing so that Document status and Scanner status are now shown by default with icon + text, while Approval status is now shown as text inside an approval badge that changes color based on the current approval status.
We are also changing so that you can control whether you want to see icon + text or just text for the Document status and Scanner status fields. You control this through new settings in the column selector (see the section on column selector). Here you can also control whether the Scanner status field should be displayed in the worklist or not.
The new display of approval status is also done in the posting lines in the document editor.
Changes to the column selector - worklist
Before
The column selector in the worklist showed menu options for both the header line and the posting line, although it was not possible to select the posting line, since the posting lines are not available in the worklist.
After
The column selector in the worklist now only shows available fields for the header line, since only header fields are relevant to the worklist.
In addition, we are introducing a new option for Settings where you can choose whether you want to display icons + text or just text for the Document status and Scanner status fields. These two settings affect the display in both the worklist and the document editor. We have also added an option for whether you want to show the Scanner status field in the worklist or not.
Changes to the column selector - document editor
Before
The column selector in the document editor showed available fields for both the header line and the posting lines in the document editor.
After
In addition to available fields for the header and posting lines, the column selector now also has access to the same settings for whether you want to display icons + text or just text for the Document status and Scanner status fields. These two settings affect both the worklist and the document editor. You also have the choice of whether you want to display the Scanner status field in the worklist or not.
