1997
Compello Software AS is established.
1998
Compello v 1.0 is launched and provokes much interest. The first contract is signed. A distribution agreement is reached with Agresso and Merkantildata.
1999
Many large and important customers are won, including Elkem, Samhall, Akademiska Hus. Compello reaches customer number 50. Many new resellers.
2002
Compello is one of Europe’s leading providers of invoicing software with over 170 customers in Scandinavia alone.
2006
600 customers including new International ones. 45 resellers.
2009
Compello Web is launched. Compello now has over 1 000 customers and 50 000 users. A new management team introduces a new strategy with an increased focus on the product and partners.
The Compello User Association was created at Compello’s first user meeting, which was held at IT Fornebu on 22 June 2004. The user association helps to determine the path for Compello’s future development.
Anyone who wishes to be a member of the Compello User Association must pay a membership fee. In addition to the membership fee, Compello Software AS will pay an amount per member company to the User Association.
- The board’s form of working/duties are as follows:
- Compello Software will present suggestions for prioritised issues.
- The board will comment on and prioritise these issues, and submit its own suggestions.
- The board also helps to determine the direction of Compello’s future development.
- The board will provide input for Compello’s course days.

- Membership of the Compello User Association means that you and your company:
- Will be involved in and influence the development of the Compello products.
- Contribute to the forming of the user association.
- Be invited to theme days with new information concerning Compello, courses, etc.
- Meet other members to exchange experiences, tips and ideas.
- Receive a discount for events held by the Compello User Association.
How to become a member:
The price per legal entity is NOK 2000 per year, regardless of the number of users.
